These String Beans with Pomegranate and Cumin make a delicious side dish with a pungent, sweet and sour taste.
It’s a perfect dish you can cook in very little time when Pomegranate is available, you can serve it with meat or with other vegetables if you opt for a full vegetarian meal.
Ingredients for 4/6 people:
500 gr organic String Beans
1 small Pomegranate
1/2 teaspoon Cumin seeds
Snip the tops and tails of the string beans with a pair of scissors.
Cook them for 15/20 min in salted boiling water.
Drain and set aside.
Deseed the pomegranate by manually extracting the seeds.
In a non stick pan heat 2 tablespoons of olive oil and add the cumin seeds.
Sautee for 2 minutes, then add the pomegranate seeds and the string beans.
